Activate Physical TS Gift Cards

Techsembly (TS) gift cards can be loaded in one of two forms, either ‘Monetary’ or ‘Experiences’.
Monetary gift cards are created with a nominal amount in the base currency of the storefront which can be used to buy any product within the terms and conditions associated with that gift card and within the amount limit. Monetary gift cards can also have partial redemptions against for multiple amounts that add up to the total sum of the amount that was bought for that gift card.

Experiences gift cards are attributed to a single product SKU experience that is attributed to that gift card and can only be redeemed a single time against that associated experience and with the terms and conditions of the gift card.

TS Gift cards are created like any other product (See Uploading Products Guide For details) in either the main admin or vendor dashboard. They can then be managed through the ‘TS Gifts Curate’ menu dashboard.

Please Note: In order to activate a physical TS Gift card, an order must first be created on the website thereby insuring that payment has been made for the physical TS Gift Card. You will also need the unique order Reference number to be associated with the activation.

To activate a TS Gift card, access the TS Gift Card dashboard, only in main Admin CMS, navigate and click on the left hand menu tab

which will open up the below dashboard.

Clicking on the menu tab 'TS Gift Cards' will open up the existing dashboard (See Below) list of all previously created TS Gift Cards that have been either purchased on the website or created from the main Admin CMS,

To activate a physical TS Gift Card, please click on the top right hand button 'Activate Physical Gift Card' which will open up the below configuration window.

'Gift Card Number' Please enter the physical gift card number on the back of the card without any spaces between the numbers.

'Gift Card Type ' - Select from the drop down menu the type of gift card 'Monetary' or 'Experience' - Please make sure it matches the same type that reflects the purchased gift card in the order.

'Product Name' - Enter in either the experience product name eg. 'Afternoon Tea' if it is an experience card or Monetary gift card.

'Gift Card Value' - Enter in the value of the monetary or experience gift card.

'Gift Card Currency' - From the drop down menu choose the same currency that must be reflected against to which the gift card has been purchased.

'Campaign' - Enter in the campaign code from the drop down menu, that will be associated with the activation of the physical gift card.

'Store' - Once the campaign code has been selected, the relevant associated 'TS stores' will be available in the drop down menu that can be then selected.

'First Name' - Enter in the first name of the recipient of the physical gift card.

'Last Name' - Enter in the last name of the recipient of the physical gift card.

'Order Number' - Enter in the RXXXXXXXXX order reference number that will be associated to this physical gift card.

'Notes' - Enter any custom notes that will be recorded in the TS Gifts curate dashboard associated with this activation.

'Invoice ID' - Enter any relevant invoice number or id that you would like to associate with this activation.

'Delivery Option' - choose from the drop down menu which delivery option is associated with this activation, either 'Pick up' or 'Delivery'. The option chosen will be available in the Ts Gift Curate dashboard as a status menu tab dropdown.

Once you are happy with all the relevant information, you may proceed with activating the gift card by clicking on the 'Activate' button which will generate direct activation against the physical gift card for the order within the orders dashboard.
