How to create Order Tags

Learn how to create custom label order tags that can be used in the orders dashboard drop down menu.

Order Tags are a way of using custom labels from the drop down order tag menu in orders dashboard to accurately tag any order with any label required for auditing and reporting processes.

In order to create these tags please navigate in the main Admin CMS, and click on 'Settings' tab. Please note that settings will only appear to the relevant permission granted for access.

Next, click on the menu tab 'Order Tags', that will open the list of all order tags previously created.

Order Tags once created can be edited by clicking on the blue tag name and making the changes in the configuration window. Once tags are added in an order - they can not be deleted. Otherwise simply click 'Delete' should an order tag not be needed.

To crate a new Order tag click on the left hand button '+ Create Order Tag' to open up the below configuration window.

Add the custom label name in the 'Name' field, that will be made available in the orders menu drop down.

If you wish to add an intimation e-mail(s), whom of which will have an email notification sent each time an order tag is either added or deleted from an order.

Once an Order Tag is saved by clicking 'Save' it will then be available for choosing in the order tag drop down menu, as in the example below.

In any order detail page, select the desired tag to label that order with the required tag, which will then be listed against that order in reporting, and an intimation email notification sent out.
