Static Pages are a great way to have as a source of information for instance like Terms and Conditions, Privacy or Cookie Policies etc
To create a static page, first navigate and click on the 'Settings' page via the left hand menu tab in the main Admin CMS dashboard or for those with permission to their sub-user profile.
The following table dashboard of all previously created Static Pages will appear.
In order to delete previously created static pages, simply select the tab next to the desired static page and then click on the 'Delete' action tab.
In order to create a static page click on the top right hand side '+ Create Static Page' to open up the following configuration table.
Begin by filling out all the text fields, starting with the 'Page Title ' and then then name that you would like to be used in the URL breadcrumb link for that static page.
Next add the 'Heading' of the static page that will be displayed on the website.
Also add a 'Meta Description' that will help with search engine optimisation (S.E.O) and help web browsers find the static page with search feature.
You will then need to choose which storefront you would like the static page to be available by clicking the checkbox against that particular storefront. Multiple storefronts can be selected.
You can then add the content of the Static Page, ie the full terms and conditions, images or even html, in the 'Content' field. You may used the editing controls on that content, or copy and paste from a 3rd source. We do advice that if you are to copy in the content, then please highlight all of the text and click the 'X' clear formatting button which will make sure the content does not interfere with the CSS that is applied to your website.
To finish, simply click on the 'Save' button
