How to Create Payment Methods

Learn how to set up and create your payment methods by which your customers will use to purchase products on your storefront

To create your payment methods, in either the main Admin CMS or the Vendor CMS navigate to 'Settings' > 'Payment Methods' You can have more than one payment method, for each storefront.

By clicking on the menu tab the below page will open up, in which to fill out all the required fields.

Choose the type, by choosing from the drop down menu the available payment methods.

Depending on which method selected offers other configurable options that will appear.

Depending on the option chosen above you will then be given the option from the resulting drop down menu on what type of payment options for this particular payment methods you wish to have. eg. Credit Card, WeChat, Alipay or ePay.

Next choose if you would like the payment method to be displayed on either the front end - so it appears on the website, on the back end - only appears in the dashboard, or on both the front end and back end.

Decide on if you would like the payment method to have the auto capture by toggling either 'Yes', 'No' or 'Default '.

Add the name of the payment method and a description for easy identification.

You have a choice of making the payment method active , by toggling the drop down menu 'Yes' or 'No'

If it is active you will need to add the Client, Secret and Publisher key from the account of the Payment provider as in the example below.

Lastly choose if you would like the payment method to be in 'Live' or 'test' mode in which to test purchasing products before the storefront goes live in order to process real payments.

Finally, click on 'Save' in which to save the new payment method. All methods can be adapted or deleted later by accessing the 'Payment Methods' tab in 'Settings'
