TS Gift Cards can be activated from the Techsembly App using the credentials that will be shared with you by your Account Manager. Download the TS Gift Card app from your phone application on the iPhone App or Google Play store.
You may also login to the redemption dashboard using your web browser page with the url: https://accounts.techsembly.com/session/new and then continue with the redemption login credentials. Please note that the 'Scan QR Code' feature only works on the TS Gift App and not with the web browser version. All other feature processes remain the same.
Login Page
After downloading the app onto your smartphone and entering your user credentials in the required fields, continue by clicking the ‘Login’ button.
Home Screen & QR Scanner
Two options are available in order to capture the Gift Card Number, either by entering the number manually into the text field or using the ‘Scan Gift Card’ option which allows you to use your smart device camera to capture the QR code on the Gift Card.
(Please note: 'Scan' can only be used via a phone app or on iPads)
If the Gift Card comes with a PIN, enter the PIN here. Not all Gift Cards require a PIN, if the Gift Card does not display a PIN number, you may proceed without a PIN.
In the example below. you will note the Gift Card Status is ‘Inactive’. To activate this card, select the Card Type from the dropdown:
- Monetary Gift Card
- Experience (SKU)
Monetary Gift Card
To activate a Monetary Gift Card, select the value from the dropdown or enter a custom value. The currency will be set to the main currency of the Property.
Experiences Gift Card
To activate an Experience, select the Experience from the dropdown.
Next, choose your Operator ID from the dropdown menu and input your PIN number.
Following the successful completion of entering your Operator ID and PIN number, you will receive the popup window below requesting the payment method.
Choosing Onsite Payment will open up the client URL for Cash on Delivery (COD), see below at the 'Onsite Payment' URL menu link. Once the URL link has been opened, the app screen will show the below success popup.
Selecting the Customer Payment will instead open up the below Gift Card Activation menu.
Gift Card Activation:
The activation process offers three options :
1. Send the activation link to the Customer’s phone via text message.
2. Activate via QR Code for the Customer to scan with their mobile device.
Choose your option by clicking the radio button, followed by clicking ‘Submit’, resulting in the ‘Success’ pop-up window.
1. Sending an activation link. By clicking on this link will result in the following popup menu to add the Customer's country code and phone number. Click ‘Submit’.
2. Activate via QR code
This option will provide the following QR code to be captured by the client's smart phone camera to enter the client's payment details resulting in the below credit card window to be filled out.
The QR URL also opens up a URL link should there be any issues with the QR code caption. Once finished capturing, you have the ability to return to the app home screen by clicking 'Back to Home'.
For Onsite Payment, process the cash payment and type in the invoice number for reconciliation processes.
2. Activate via QR code
Once activation has been made successful, the results page will be shown with the ability to go back to the home page by clicking ‘Back to Home’ or by emailing the transaction details.
Enter one or more email addresses separated by a comma, and then click the ‘Submit’ button to send transaction details to the email addresses supplied.
Following the successful activation, the customer will be presented with a ‘Success’ message. If the customer wishes to receive a copy of the transaction, they can input their email address by clicking on the ‘Email Transaction Details’ button.
