How to set up your Vendor/Team storefront

Learn how to set up your profile as a new seller or team on Techsembly

To create a Seller (Vendor) or Team Profile, from the Main CMS dashboard, locate and click 'Vendors' on the left-hand menu.

You will arrive at a table with a list of all the vendors already setup and a button

'Add New Vendor' in which you will be given a table to fill out all the details outlined below:

  • Vendor name

  • Contact name

  • Vendor status - active or blocked (inactive)

  • Vendor Page enabled

  • Logo

  • Contact phone

  • Email

  • Password

  • Additional Emails

  • Shipping and Billing address

Vendor name
This is your Seller or Team name e.g. Hotel Bakery.

Contact name

Input an individual in charge of your storefront. e.g: if the vendor is the Hotel Bakery, then the contact would be the Bakery Manager.

Logo

Upload a logo image in the size 150 x 150 px. Best if saved as a PNG or JPEG file and saved for web, to limit under 200 kb in size.

Contact phone

Enter the phone number of the contact person in charge.

Email
Enter the main e-mail account used to log in.

Password
To change your password, please simply input a new password in the password field and click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page to save the change.

Enter a password containing at least 6 characters and one special character for login.

Additional Emails

Techsembly

This is where you can add multiple emails to ensure your relevant team members receive all order notifications and customer questions.

If you are adding multiple emails, please separate them by a comma i.e: email1@mystore.com, email2@mystore.com.

If you don’t want to add additional email notifications, please just input ‘0’ (Zero).

Enable Vacation Mode

If you are going on vacation or if you won’t be able to fulfil orders for a period of time, you can switch off your storefront by enabling this. Doing so will remove products from the frontend, so customers will not be able to find your products or brand.

Local Stores

Here you will see a list of stores that your Seller/Team page may appear on. Select the stores you would like the vendor/team products to be sold.

Shipping Address Origin and Billing Information

This is where you can populate your Shipping Address and your Billing address if it is different to your Shipping Address from which you will likely fulfil your orders and receive returns.

Configurations

Configurations is the contact person, in charge of making sure all the details are correct and management of the team or vendor.

Populating your Seller or Team Landing Page

If you Vendor/Team enable a vendor landing page (i.e. microsite to showcase specifics about the vendor or team, an introduction and description with images) and then a drop down menu will appear in which to configure the rest of the landing page accordingly.


Banner Image:

Please upload a banner image in the size 1140 x 317 px. It should be saved as a PNG or JPEG file and saved for web, so under 300kb in size.

Landing Page Title:

This is the title of the page so please just re-enter the brand name e.g. My Store Name

Landing Page:

This is your storefront domain and should be entered either as one word or with dashes separating each word, so the input should be either:

1) Your brand name with no spaces, e.g. mystorename

2) Your brand name with each word separated by a dash, e.g my-store-name

Please leave no spaces between the words, if you wish to separate words, please use a dash (-)

Short Description:

This text entered into this text box will appear on your Seller / Team landing page.

By Designer

This is where you can populate any additional information about your business and will be populated on the product listing page.
