Your base currency is the main currency that your business will process transactions, for example if all your sales and accounts are done in Hong Kong Dollars, your base currency will be HKD. Please note, you can still showcase different currencies on your storefront, this is simply the currency that all your sales will be reported in.

To set your base currency, navigate to 'Settings' > 'Set Base Currency'

To set your base currency, simply select the currency from the dropdown on the page.

Please note: that all currencies that can be supported are initially set in the 'Supported Currencies' tab in 'Settings'.

Upon selecting your base currency, enter a percentage markup or markdown (with a negative number e.g. -0.50) to reflect changes in foreign currency when chosen. This will help create rounded figures (e.g. €58.00 instead of €57.89), presented on the front end website.
